BRAVO / Top Chef Season Five – CONSUMER PROMOTION
larry abel / de-signs, vb. produced the kick off event to season five of Top Chef for Bravo. This season, since being filmed in New York for the first time, we decided the perfect setting was the historic Vanderbilt Hall in Grand Central Terminal. And what better way to celebrate than with a tasting event featuring 20 of the finest restaurants in New York City, benefiting City Harvest … along with main stage presentations hosted by New York Magazine.
Restaurants from all five boroughs were represented and to highlight their participation, we designed giant Bravo-like representations of the boroughs and created grand and sweeping installations in scale with Vanderbilt Hall.
Stainless Steel and hi tech were a dominate theme.
