Entertainment Weekly: Independent Spirit Awards 2006
Entertainment Weekly asked larry abel / de-signs, vb. to create a cool hip hangout for the 2006 Independent Spirit Awards. Because the awards are held on the beach in Santa Monica, we thought it most appropriate to develop a design that incorporated the natural beachy elements of water, sand, natural fiber, grass and crushed seashells in a harmonious balance. We branded the space with Entertainment Weekly's award-winning photography and delivered the perfect lounge for celebrities and VIP guests to gather before and after the ceremony.
