Piaget sponsor tent for the Independent Spirit Awards
When PIAGET approached larry abel / de-signs, vb. to create their backstage lounge for the Independent Spirit Awards, we were inspired by the beauty of their photography to create a glamorous black and white installation with a Hollywood Regency feel equal to the beauty and sophistication of PIAGET.
A special floor was built atop a parking lot on which we installed a black and white checker patterned tile floor.
To accent the featured POLO watch, we made the entire entry wall out of grass with the PIAGET logo flanked by printed canvas photos of the watches.
Beautiful seating areas accented each corner of the tent.
An outdoor garden with teak furnishings and sisal rugs provided a quiet respite for some great beach sunshine. Custom made acrylic tables and armoirs made the space unique and inviting.
